Is my Congressional Rep and I am so proud of him. His office is well run and oriented to the community, and he's just a good man. Rare in politics. He has my respect, hands down. As do the voters who have elected him many times before I got to join in.

We just went through a similar sort of 'tax revolt' down here over toll roads where TxDOT was to spend $9 million taxpayer dollars to convince us what a great idea the Texas Corridor was. The Toll Party here is promoting exactly what DeLauro is saying here. Heck, even the military prohibits propaganda from being used on troops (well, officially anyway).

7. And he is running unopposed for re-election!

That's my representative! Even though his district is largely rural and conservative, except for Eugene, the Repugs couldn't find anybody this time to run against Peter DeFazio. There was nobody on the Republican primary ballot running for his seat. Bwah hah hah -
