1. Impressive fellow.

I'm an old White man who finds this young Black fellow to be an extremely good candidate for the Presidency. He is poised, articulate, unaffected and strong.

I voted for him in the NJ Primary and I hope to vote for him in the General. I believe he is perfectly capable of doing what needs to be done in Washington to get the U.S. back on track.

4. Iraq War/U.S. Standing in the World = #1 Issue : YES !!

The very best part of this interview was when he responded that his #1 accomplishment desire as President would be to end the war and restore U.S. standing in the world. Folks, this election is
LITERALLY a matter of life and death. A vote for John McCain is a vote to continue one of the worst foreign policy blunders in human history which will continue to result in dead Americans (and innocent Iraqis) at an absolutely staggering cost in treasure to our nation and its economy. This war is bankrupting not only our treasury but also our very national morality and standing in the world. The whole world is watching. This is matter of life and death. UNITE Democrats, and support Barack Obama and the END of the Bush/Cheney/McCain/Neocon destruction of our great nation.

6. Can't speak for the importance to the US

But when he said "The world WANTS us to lead", I said out loud "YES!".

It has sometimes seemed like Europe was considered an enemy by many americans. But in all honesty we look to you for leadership. And your administration has failed you there.

I been to the US 3 times now. Haven't met many americans I didn't like. Makes me all the more sad that the relation has been tainted by BushCo the last 7 years.

The thought of someone with Obamas qualities and communication skills taking the US back in the lead on important issues that matters to us all - excites me to no end. And is a big reason for me hanging out on DU.
I thought you had it nailed with Kerry, whom I liked - and was devastated the morning I woke up - and I remember clearly that I as in hotel room in Helsinki, Finland - and saw the numbers from the GE. Devastated and pissed.

But this time... You struck gold. I have no doubt. It might still be a tough fight in the GE, but that guy has to get in that seat.
