8. Remember we had to DEMAND the same from our Democrats

before they would find their spines. It took so damn long (and 58,000 dead troops) that by the time countless people took to the streets, the republicans had even had "their fill" of all the bloodshed.

BTW the official republican story has changed over the years. ;) Back in 1975, everyone was "emotionally traumatized" and ready to put that long bloody war behind us. Again, because we lost the hearts and minds of the natives, no amount of troops and bombs would convince the remaining survivors to submit. :( Now the republicans want the American people to believe that they were all fired up to continue the madness of perpetual war.

Congress will take any action to stop the war. It only says that Bush should bring back the troops sometime soon. That is not enough.

I've never met her but I know her the way I know Judy Shepard, Terri Schiavo's parents, and my own beloved mother. They all took on a mission to make sense of their loss and not let it be in vain. I love love LOVE them all.
