Here' the introductory blurb from YouTube:
Leading film-makers are seeking to change the way we think about other countries. This is one of a powerful series of films to be shown on Pangea Day, May 10, "the day the world comes together through film".

The website for PangeaDay is: http://www.pangeaday.org/

Pangeaday is billed as: "A Global Film Festival Harnessing the Power of Film to Inspire and Compel Social Change"

Edited to add: Here's the YouTube page for PangeaDay: http://www.youtube.com/user/pangeaday

1. If I am not mistaken. France was the first Country to reconize the United States.
I have been angry at France before. Yet it had more to do with my own blindness years ago than anything else.

I hope France is ready for change in the world. When Obama gets into the white house we are going to start talking before we act and stop crapping on other nations because George bush says so.

I am ready to be proud to say that I am an American. I am ready to go to france and have the people say "Look that is an American who took back his country from evil and now works with us to change the world" rather than "Meh, Just another Bush/Mccain loving American" or "I feel sorry for you American"

We can no longer just sit and play with our own toys while the world changes around us. At the rate Bush is leading us into ruin. The world will easily pass us up.

While we fiddle fart about a primary, The people of England and France are having protests around the Olympic flame to say HELL NO to China and their BS.

2. Good post.
I think that European countries are being foster parents for our democracy until we can learn to take better care of it.

3. Good arrangement!
As a former band member, I know all the "cliches" that have been used to arrange The Star Spangled Banner, but this arrangement is pleasantly new and refreshing!
