The real divisions are Urban vs Rural and THAT is shifting. Obama will give it a kick in the ass... to get it going.

4. No disrespect to Sirota

who I think is a pretty clear thinker on most issues - but I find the importance of this analysis to be way overblown. Is this really the ONLY pattern that distinguishes states where Obama wins from those that Clinton wins? What about caucuses vs. primaries? Old vs. young populations? Urban vs. rural? Rich vs. poor?

I mean, it's an observation, yes, but to try to read something into it seems like pushing the statistics way too far.

5. OBAMA DOES NOT FIT THE RULES

Obama is not a red or blue candidate... any more than he is a black or white candidate...

This is a man who has brought an interest in politics to the young
A man who transends PARTY LINES... opening up logical debate on difficult questions

WE NEED SOMEONE WILLING TO SAY "military industrial complex" without blushing
SOMEONE WILLING TO SAY "global warming" without trembling
SOMEONE WILLING TO SAY "TRILLIONS in debt... an aging population" without fear

the DO NOTHING congress of 2000-2006 (and the STALLED congress of 2006-2008) need to understand that if there is to be change in this country--- the ACTUAL ISSUES must be debated

I MAY NOT AGREE WITH EACH STANCE THAT OBAMA TAKES, BUT I FEEL THAT HE IS OPEN TO DEBATE, WILLING TO COMPROMISE, MAY EVEN CHANGE HIS OPINION WHEN GOOD ARGUMENTS ARE OFFERED....

AND WE NEED SUCH A PERSON... with or without melanin... with or without a penis or vagina...
...................WE ARE LOOKING FOR THEIR LEADERSHIP INTO THE 2000s....
