A few hours ago, Todd Beeton over at MyDD.com falsely accused me of manipulating and splicing video footage in my "Disloyal Democrat" YouTube clip to distort Hillary Clinton's statement yesterday that John McCain was more ready to be president than Barack Obama.

His accusation is completely false. I did not manipulate the video or change her words one iota.

In fact, Beeton's attempt to prove his case relies on using a statement by Hillary Clinton made in Fort Worth, Texas on March 1. The statement in my video was made in Toledo, Ohio on March 3.

I don't want to turn the political videos forum into a pissing match about Beeton's allegation, but given the fact that the video is on the DU home page, I do think some people may want to see the original video from which my video was drawn.

I've posted it here, and as you can see, I did not change her words one iota.

4. This is going to really damage Obama if he is the nominee

This infighting only helps the Republicans.
