3. So here's the money quote and there does seem to still be some wiggle room here:

Might be a subtle distinction, but it still leaves an open question.m in my mind at least.

As a foreign govt Canada CAN'T appear to be favoring one candidate over another, or be involved in our political process IN ANY MANNER AT ALL. But they need to convey the truth without seeming to criticize anyone.

4. What was NOT debunked is that Obama vigorously denied there was ANY meeting at all.

Then he tried to pretend there was no meeting by denying it happened in DC (it happened in Chicago). Then, once they couldn't get away with that, he claimed that the memo from that meeting did not say what it clearly says it did, and finally today -- when challenged as to why he falsely denied there was a meeting in the first place, Obama actually said that his first answer was based on the facts as he undersood them at the time.

Which is EXACTLY what Hillary said about her vote for the IWR!!

8. Doesn't Matter WHAT Canada says

the media is still running with the story as if it were 100% verified as true. Even AFTER showing a clip of the Canadian officials denying the charge the talking heads still come back and discuss it as if it were documented fact. This will be the attack point for Republicans in the GE if Obama is the nominee, and will serve as the "excuse" for a Republican win in November.

We have ALL gotten WAY too used to hearing equivocations from Bush if we think this says ANYTHING about the story is UNTRUE.

Of course they had "no intention to convey, in any way". NOW THAT"S DIPLOMACY. We didn't mean for you to know the truth about OUR INTERPRETATION of the meeting, our bad!
Notice it doesn't say "WE NEVER INFERED ...that Senator Obama and his campaign team were taking a different position ", because according to the memo they certainly did infer that. Because that is EXACTLY what Obama adviser Austan Goolsbee was INFERING.

What is SCARY is that Obama's advisor meet with a foreign consulate and left them with a CONFUSING MESSAGE!
Because of you believe the "angry denial from the Obama campaign" than either the Canadians were confused or Obama is lying.
