Pancreatic cancer - anyone??
my best friend was diagnosed with stage 4 - inoperable due to size and location.

Pet scan showed a spot on her liver.

She is on chemo and got into a clinical trial.

She is very positive, but quiet about what the Dr.s say. Everything I see online is gut-wrenching. Has anyone here dealt with this cancer, and what can you tell me about it?

Thanks so much!

3. thank you - does that increase her chances?
I am really scared that she got the placebo. It is double blind.

I was her caretaker. It was over a decade ago, and I'm hoping that some advances have been made since then.

I wish your friend much health, and success with her treatment.

I also wish you strength, dealing with a loved one's illness is very challenging. Your support is wonderful, and very needed.
