My Brother is Blogging from Laos
He was in Thailand before this and Australia before that. It's very exciting.

1. Thanks for posting your bro's site; I look forward to reading it!
I also want to know how he's doing it, and for how long. Did he win a lottery? :hi: Ah, to be able to travel around like that-heaven, I'd say.

3. he got laid off
and he's collecting unemployment for six months, I think he said that's how long he's going to do it for

also, our father passed away and left us with some money, mine's all gone , but I'm very happy for him

I'm also proud that I gave him the idea to do the blog.

Two of my students are in Thailand for Christmas break. I'm envious (and stuck here on the gray, rainy North Coast).

4. He's in Hanoi now.
His latest is a photographic dissertation on free market forces in a neo-communist society, with some comedy in there too.

9. I know this is old.
I haven't updated this in two years, but he spent 5 months in 1997 all throughout Africa (including a crazy midnight bus ride through Zimbabwe with a guy getting drunk next to him on some kind of palm wine).

And now, last week, he just left for South America.

Anyway, it's the same link:

It didn't work for awhile, but it's working again now.

Enjoy
