The DC Labor Filmfest, the Labor Heritage Foundation, the AFL-CIO, and the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists present a screening of "At the River I Stand." The film follows Martin Luther King Jr's involvement with the 1968 Memphis sanitation workers strike. CBTU President Bill Lucy, who worked with King during the strike, will introduce the film.
