Two days after a right-to-work group unsuccessfully sought to cancel or delay a union vote at Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, more than two-thirds of dealers there have voted to join a union.
The dealers voted 324 to 149 late Saturday night to join the United Auto Workers union, the group announced on its Web site.
"The election victory is superb news for Trump Plaza dealers and all Atlantic City dealers," said UAW Secretary-Treasurer Elizabeth Bunn. "We look forward to bargaining with Trump Plaza management to secure a great first contract that benefits casino workers and the gaming industry in New Jersey."
A spokesman for Trump Plaza did not immediately return a call for comment.
