USA = Corporate Owned
Edited on Sun Jan-30-11 10:54 AM by SHRED
Corporate interests have bought off this government, weakened trade/tariff laws (gave "protectionism" a dirty name), globalized markets via NAFTA, GATT, etc..thus allowing for cheap imports with little to no import penalty. They call it "free trade" when the only thing free is their freedom to not be hampered with rules and regs that protect people and our environment.

At the same time, through the media they own (radio and TV), they blame organized labor and environmental regulations for job flight (outsourcing).
It's a brainwashing to get the working class to fight with itself while they increase their corporate bottomline exponentially moving to 50 cent per hour labor overseas.

Some of the filthy corporate lies I hate and perpetrated to the mases:

*Spotted Owl was responsible for killing forestry jobs in the Northwest
*Banking industry was forced to give home loans to people who could not repay and this is the cause of our current financial crisis
*Organized labor, safety regulations, and environmental laws caused outsoucing of jobs. In other words, business couldn't afford to do business in America.

All lies.
All perpetuated daily by the RW over the airwaves they own.

3. Right on!
The illusion of political parties

There is only one in charge and that is the Multi-National Capitalist Party and it doesn't give a god damn about this country or it's workers.
In fact, it is the workers who stand in the way of their profit margins hence the flight to Indonesia and China for their pennies-per-hour workers.

For 50 years Capitalism was reasonably good to the USA but it has Internationalized and America is now fucked by the same monetary system it proudly proclaimed.
The tiger has turned and has it's "master" by the throat.

4. Yes!! And our "crow-bar"s are the ISSUES. Issues should be first; h - o - w to get things done
second and political party third or lower in priority. This way people can rise by means of their specific proposals for what they are going to do about things that directly and concretely affect us and we can organize around empirical information, rather than being used by ideology, and parties, though not totally excluded, can assume their appropriate place in the order of things, allowing us to concentrate on Power to the People, instead of power to political chicanery.
