A solid majority of voters in election battleground states want to extend tax cuts for the middle class while ending them for people with incomes of more than $250,000 a year. The Greenberg Quinlan Rosner research firm conducted the poll in seven battleground states for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The poll was conducted in California, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin. SEIU President Mary Kay Henry says the polls shows that Americans of all stripes agree that working families and small business, not the wealthy, need and deserve tax cuts.
