The AFL-CIO is running a campaign this month at workplaces throughout the country calling for good jobs and political candidates who support them. The first wave of the grassroots campaign involves distribution of over 300,000 flyers at 164 work sites in 23 states. AFL-CIO President Rich Trumka says the campaign will underscore for politicnas that if they fight for working families the AFL-CIO will work hard for them. But Trumka says if the take workers for granted, many politicians will be awfully lonely come November.
