A nuclear power plant in New York is facing a midnight strike deadline. Jesse Russell reports:

A strike deadline at New York’s Indian Point nuclear power plant has been moved to midnight tonight. The Utility Workers Union agreed on Monday to continue negotiations with Entergy Nuclear – extending a deadline originally set to expire on Sunday at midnight. The main issues dividing the two sides relate to wages and benefits. The company says that managers have been shadowing the 433 workers so the plant can continue to run safely should a strike occur tonight. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will also be on hand to ensure safety. The plant is located 35 miles outside of Manhattan.
