Target corporate anti-worker video exposes campaign to compete with Wal-Mart in union-busting
Shopping in today’s anti-union retail environment can often lead ethical consumers into a “lesser of two evils” dilemma. While many communities at least have union grocery stores some compete with big box retailers that aggressively mistreat their workers. For some Target is the preferred alternative to Wal-Mart given few if any other options in the marketplace. Wal-Mart has proudly trumpeted its anti-union mentality and proudly displays products Made in Communist China, offering low prices ostensibly made possible by selling products made by workers in working conditions not seen in this country since the New Deal.

Target and Wally have pretty much pushed local stores aside so most of us have a choice between bad and worse.
