PS: I had originally meant to post this under GD-P, since it was part of Obama's Lincoln Memorial event. But Labor seems to be a more appropriate place for it. Let's see what HBO makes of it now!

1. I loved it!

Those lyrics haven't been heard for so long, and when the line about "the relief office" was sung, I wondered if anyone remembered that what we know today as "welfare" was originally called "relief," which really is a much better, much more accurate term. I wish it could return today. They were originally soup kitchens, but the term "relief office" meant the government place you went to to get funds.

Sometimes it's just cooler than hell to be old................

3. Ok, now I'm in tears.....
I haven't heard that sung like that for a long time, and Seeger's grandson Tao has a voice even stronger than his grandfather's was. Wow.

6. Is there any way to D/L & "save" this video (before the HBO Gestapo makes its move)?

8. I had already tried that (right-click on the screen).
But there was no D/L or "Save" on the Menu. I'm using Firefox 3.0.5, but I can't see that as a problem.

And the "Download Video" option box is displayed above the video without my having to do anything.

On edit: just move the mouse over and above the video, and the download option should appear.

Also, try Internet Explorer for just this situation.

If all else, fails, PM me and I will provide a link from my site.

10. Got it now!
My desk machine must have the wrong setting or something. I just tried it on my new netbook (ASUS 904/HA), and that option showed up at the bottom of the r-click menu.

plays in R-Player, but both the video and audio are quite 'jerky' all through the performance. (Deliberate speed-bumps by HBO?).

11. I just tried it with MS Explorer on my desk-top machine, and it WORKED!
No jerky "speed bumps" either! Not "great" audio, but I wasn't expecting that anyhow. Later, I'll try it again on my net-book, using Explorer.
