Russian Venture Capitalist Costs Workers Jobs and Income During Economic Meltdown
Russian Venture Capitalist Costs Workers Jobs and Income During Economic Meltdown 10 Dec 2008 Russian billionaire Sergei A. Plastinin has served himself a self-styled economic bailout by leaving the US with unpaid bills owed to construction firms and workers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, says Robert Carlton of TRC, Inc. in Harmony, Pennsylvania.

Kira Plastinina owes $1,845,000 to US construction firms and construction workers for five high-end fashion stores in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. Carlton notes that such a bailout has left workers holding an empty bag at worst time of the year and during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.

Rather than pay his bills for construction work completed at his stores, Russian business billionaire Sergei Plastinin has spent millions courting US media stars, such as Paris Hilton, who appeared -- at a cost of $2 million -- at the fashion show of his designing daughter, the sixteen-year-old socialite, Kira Plastinina.
