The picture I want every (Army, Navy, AF) military academy cadet to ponder

The bravest act and, in_deed greatest service they could ever perform for America is to demand Bush and Cheney resign.

Never Forget: George W. Bush willfully violated National Security to cover-up his willful launch of a war of aggression and illegal occupation of Iraq.

Protesters block president at Stanford

Throngs of protesters at Stanford University blocked the road to Hoover Institution, thwarting President George W. Bush's visit to Hoover late Friday afternoon.

The president was instead taken to the campus home of former Secretary of State George Shultz, according to reports.

Protesters jammed the street, some sitting on the ground. A fire truck made an attempt to open the street around 4:30 p.m. by creating a ruse: telling protesters they needed to get to a fire.

Group didn't buy the excuse refused to leave.

"F--- you," a frustrated fireman shouted at the crowd.

6. If you were the guy driving that first tank...
what do you think Bush would order you to do to do?

Is that an army you'd want to enlist in?

7. Ah, yes. Two questions very much worthy of consideration.

We know what the gutless bike rider would order and it is now clear that any American actually serving their oath of office - be it military or civilian - have only one legitimate choice: demand Bush, Cheney and their fellow criminals resign and ensure that they are prosecuted for all the laws they have violated.

Peace.

11. Recommended. They need to keep this in mind for another reason.
Just in case * is foolish enough to try and send them into the street against the people.

The Potemkin mutiny would be nothing compared to the reaction to that order by the
collapsing regime.

15. Thanks, that's quite an article. Debate is good.
The Roman army encouraged it at times and and during certain periods, the "grunts" had a large
say in the exploits of Rome.

Our officer corps can learn a great deal from this. That any of them are openly discussing this
is simply outstanding. This is about their country and also their lives. They should debate.

29. "'We cannot do this mission.' They confused the cultural can-do attitude
... with their responsibilities as leaders to delay the start of the war until we had an adequate force. I think the backlash against the general officers will be seen in the resignation of officers" ..."

Thank you for the link to the NY Times article. I suspect Bush and Cheney will not be in office much longer.

Peace.

14. For those who may have not seen the video..
The tank moves from left to right, trying to go around the guy. The guy moves in front of the tank whenever it moved. The video will give you chills.

I was 17yo when Tiennamen Square happened. I was shocked the other day to find someone not that much younger than me (maybe 10 years) who didn't know anything about it. We must not forget.

Who saw "Tank Man" on Frontline a week or so ago? It was most excellent!

He was arrested and executed days later.

Still, he made the most powerful statement of the century. Not a bad way to use your life.

Can't help thinking what would have happened to him if it was an Israeli tank driver and not a Chinese one.
