7. We may be witnessing the end of this Republican Party.
Edited on Thu Apr-20-06 09:37 PM by Marr
I think they've gotten about all the mileage they're going to get out of the fundamentalists. The Republicans have two pissed off constituencies now: the fundamentalists who are pissed about not getting their full-blown theocracy, and the fiscal conservatives who are pissed about the religious pandering and outrageous spending. Who to please? Can't please both. Seems like their entire leadership decided to simply cash in once they got power; rape the country and loot the treasury, and screw everyone else. How very Republican.

I'd love to see that party crippled for the next decade or two. It may be about the only good thing Bush accomplishes.

9. Do you know what would satisfy me? The truth for a change. Is
that too much to ask?

11. It's going to take decades to clean up the mess that this party has
crippled the United States with! Let's hope that they stay out of power for at least that long. Wouldn't that be great?

8. The people don't want to hear the lies anymore.
The media knows that and they want to keep their ratings up.

With that said, I'd like to see the demise of the GOP.
