Interesting statement by Lindsey Graham.
In his opening statement in the Alito hearings.

"Are you a main stream conservative?. Judge, if every republican on this committee votes for you, and you aren't main stream, then that means WE aren't main stream!"

I rarely agree with Lindsey, but there's a ring of truth to what he said!

1. Very interesting
So I wonder if Alito will make it through now with all these revelations coming out about him. I can't wait till the hearings later today.

3. I'm waiting to hear Alito's responses too.
Perhaps different from a lot of people here, I recognize that a Pub President is going to appoint a conservative judge! That's a given.

I listened to all the hearings for Roberts, and I have to admit, the guy really knew the law and the Constitution! He is a very smart man! How he will do his job as Chief Justice is yet to be seen.

I reserve judgement on Alito, even though past history indicates he's a RW nut case.

I can understand, if you are applying for a job for a Rwer, you're going to try to portray that opinion. It troubles me that he made decisions while a judge that are contrary to "the rule of law".

I'll be watching closely!
