8. 441 precincts, mostly op-scan, some Diebold touch,
bush won with 55% in 04 - BUT Boxer only lost by a few hundred in this county with only 30% reg dems.

I just voted for her but the polling place was dead. It would be unbelievable if she gets 50% in this district.

28. If only 10,000 voted, all she needs are 5001.
There is also a special election in Orange County for a State Senate Seat. Between a rabid unknown rich Republican who got all the endorsements of the party regulars, and a moderate Republican who has under his belt several years on Huntington Beach City council and five years in the Assembly. So far, he is leading by a razor thin lead.

...when I went to that page, all I get is a blank page. So then I tried Firefox and it works great! I can see the whole page.

I don't know what browser you're using but you might try another one if you get a blank page.

...and our polls close at 7:00 PM. They usually don't get a total count for a couple of hours.

But I know what you mean about it being slow. Why can't they go ahead and count the votes that have been cast earlier in the day and then count the ones that vote late?

and they're still only posting absentee results?! What's up with that?

on edit: I take that back. They are now reporting 7.4%. Busby still at about 42%.
