Needed: A worldwide pact regarding mutual assured destruction (MADD).

Assuming we survive the Bush Administration and their "end-time" fundie lunatic allies, here's a possible way from preventing today's Iran situation from ever happening again.

What's needed is an international pact that states, if any country ever launches a nuclear weapon against anyone, all other countries with nuclear weapons will attack them. Ourselves aside, countries that currently have nuclear capabilities include the UK, France, Russia, India, China, Israel, and Pakistan.

Within a few years, more countries will join this club. Nuclear winter would become a certainty under such a "pact" and might even deter sociopaths like those currently in the White House.

This "pact" concept assumes we will make it past the current crisis brought on by King George and his Knights of the Straight Jackets. But if they do end up launching "tactical" nuclear weapons against Iran, every single American, and every other human being on the face of the earth left alive, must dedicate themselves to making sure that these maniacs are held responsible.
