Which would be quicker to restore the world's faith in this country???
a) '06 Impeachment and removal of BushCo from office (including Darth, Congazleesa and Rumsfart)?

b) '08 Elections of a Democratic president/house/senate and dismantling exposing (thru hearings and such) of the Reich's programs?

c) a combination of a) & b)

d) a military 'intervention' of BushCo's march to Armegeddon if he tries to nuke Iran (leading to some form of a/b)?

1. Any of the above would restore my faith,
though option d is not very appealing (collateral damage). I assume we will not have to wait until '08 to take the House and Senate.

3. The only "advantage" to d) ....
.. and I use the word "advantage" loosely, it that it would been seen as a non-partisian action, since they make their pledge to THE CONSTITUION, not the President.

2. I see failed impeachment in the cards. Let me explain a little
Articles of Impeachment are introduced into the House. If there are enough votes in the House in favor of the Articles, they are sent to the Senate, where the trial is held. It only requires a simple majority. If two-thirds of all senators vote that he is guilty, the president will be dethroned.

I don't think it will be possible to remove him. Democrats only have 44 seats at present. 67 are needed.

4. What only requires a simple majority?
The House votes or the Senate votes?

5. Failed impeachment only if...
1) we push it before the '06 elections.

2) we try to 'run' with it as a (major) election issue. Mention it, sure, but don't gather around it yet, it will just make the neo-cockroachs come out of the woodwork.

7. It will probably fail even if we do what you say.
There is almost no way you could go from 44 seats in the Senate to 67 between today and 2008. It is a statistical long-shot. Even if you won the 67th seat in 2008, Bush will already be leaving office anyway, and you can't impeach a president who isn't even in office anymore.

World War III Would Be Very Bad For Business!

12. I Don't Think The Hague Does Capital Punishment
Lucky for them. The prison wing in the Peace Palace awaits them:

Did you ever notice how much the International Criminal Court scares the BFEE?

I think they have nightmares about it.

I've been saying it for awhile. The only thing to restore the world's confidence in the US is a military-led left-wing coup led by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, citing a Constitutional crisis based upon the 2000 and 2004 elections.

As the results of the elections are a fraud, any action by the Dubya administration is illegal, hence the Joint Chiefs have no mandate in Iraq or Afghanistan. Hence they need new elections to get an adminstration in place to tell them what they're really supposed to be doing.
