2. Thats how they work
and the media buys it. Shift the conversation from about IF we invade Iran, to HOW we invade Iran. Make it look like a conventional war is the better option, when they forget the best option is NO WAR.

iran has mutual defense pacts w/ syria. venezuela, cuba, china; maybe russia. ANY attack on iran will call down retribution that our weakened military can NOT withstand.
