Surely The Republicans Have One Success…..

After four years of running the entire government the Republicans must have one thing that they have accomplished which improves the lives of the citizens. For the life of me, when I look at their record it is just one failure after another.

Not to wish a headache on anyone, but,can anyone think of something they have done to which they could point with pride?

1. they have unified people against them

People from many different political area - who normally wouldn't be allies - are now aligned.

That's the only success I can think of.

2. Corporations are living it up and happy.

As far as the citizens....I am convinced that every decision they've made, all that seem bad to us, are actually carefully designed to widen the class gap and drive the middle class down to poverty level while giving those who have even more.

That's their accomplishment. Turning the USA into a third world country with a poverty class and a ruling class.

3. This is too easy from their perspective: Hummm....

Republicans have the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives. They have the Supreme court and most of the lower federal judgeships..

They have a lock on fundraising..
they have removed civil liberty guarantees. they can torture anyone in the name of a terror war.

They can seize and hold without warrant any American citizen for an indefinite period of time...

Bush has listened in on our (american citizens) phone calls and internet traffic without a warrant and bragged about it and smirked his smirk when challenged...

He has bankrupted this country, but not the filthy rich, so they are not affected...they can afford balckwater security when our police are underfunded to extinction. They can afford private fire departments, and use off shore banks so funds are safe...

The Republicans have almost everything they wanted....
