After today, where will Bush have his next town hall meeting?
Today, Bush had a question and answer seesion with the students at Johns Hopkins University. And some folks thought the students had better questions than most of the White House press corps. Obviously, he is in full tilt boogie mode, in an attempt to bring up his sinking polls. Many more days like today will not do the trick.

Where will he be tomorrow? It's been a few days since he was in front of a military crowd? Wonder why? Maybe he will give a speech in front of a third grade class tomorrow? Or he will go before a business group to tell us how great his economy is going? Maybe the Chamber of Commerce has an opening? They've got him revved up and rarin' to go. He's in full campaign mode. Look out for the BS!

21. Hi, Blue State Native. Yep. It would be interesting to hear
therapists' interpretations of Dubya's behavior. I don't think it would bee all that positive an assessment, do you?

Hey -- I like the photos you have in your signature field -- one of a pooch and one of a president.

13. Very true. No tough questions at all. Maybe some on the war, like:
"Tell us again about bringing freedom to the Middle East." and

"Is it hard to see in a sandstorm?"

Etc.

14. Wow. A full-throttle media blitz by Junior & Karl.
From a strictly Republican viewpoint, it might be more politically beneficial to leave the little weasel at home.

The more he opens his mouth, the faster the poll numbers fall.

(Hi, TahitiNut. Good to see you again on these boards.)

17. Yes there does SEEM to be an attempt to at least make the APPEARANCE
that shrub is emerging from his military audience/AEI/VFW coccoon... trouble is, it's not working out for him, because he can't hang with a real audience. I expect them to either step up the fakery, to have much improved stagecraft and planted audience questions, or to abandon the idea entirely soon and return to the coccoon, much like the first "series of speeches on Iraq", "mission to Mars", the "new Iraqi flag" and various other failed propaganda initiatives were quietly dropped.

Needless to say, my money is on "quietly dropped."
