Congressman Murtha:
I admire you very much, but you're preaching to the choir here. Americans are sick and tired of reading every single day of the abuses of the President, or seeing an arrogant criminal like DeLay walking into Washington with a standing ovation when everyone of his staff is pleading guilty. You don't have to convince us, you have had us for years. Americans are worried that the lack of leadership is not just a GOP problem. There is no good time for Democrats pounding the pavements and flooding the airwaves. It is absurd to try to escape the GOP noise machine and wait to see them destroy themselves. Democrats could do so much better at using what the "Real Fear" is, to stand up and scream. The Fear of Reality and the Reality that Harry Reid could shut down Senate Session and not follow up on his action!
So, with all due Respect, Congressman, with you knowing that this criminal of a president is crazy enough to already bring up false arguments to nuke Iran, and numerous Generals and ex Army leaders are scratching their heads and doubting about his deluded assessment, why don't you call in all democratic leaders and have them tell to America that so many are losing faith?
Being the only alternative to GOP leadership is not enough to keep us hoping. You all need to start listening and earn the trust of American progressive liberals/Democrats. I keep receiving requests to support Democratic candidates and spend my time at the grass roots of Democratic projects.
How motivated do you think I am to do so if I see you guys keep on preaching but not screaming? Like the front page of TIME magazine on the subject of Global Warming it reads: "worry! be very Worried!"
We are worried about that, and about the too long lack of leadership inside our Party as well.
God bless all the nations !
