do not have a clue what would happen if something that looked like a bill got through the Congress and to "No Veto" Bush. (He doesn't VETO anything because he does not know how to spell it  )
All we have heard from the right is "jobs American's won't do." So wrong, so wrong. American's won't work for $2 an hour. This is going to hurt big business and small farmers as well as migrant workers. They are going to be the next "slave" laborers except they will be legal "slave laborers," and it is because of those statements that keep coming from the Republican side of the isle.
So immigrant workers can ONLY do unskilled labor? Is that going to be the highest they will be allowed to achieve for? The dirty jobs only? That's not right. Because they will not only be taking our jobs (because all of the industrialized companies that we as consumers still support by buying their products, and that at one time we had in America are now in Mexico so they can pay $2 a day). Heck, I don't even know what companies are 100% American made goods. Anybody have a list or know where one is?
The people that are here illegally (not just Mexicans), but the ones working in sweat shops in New York, housekeeping for those senators and congressmen on Capital Hill, and other cities where they wash dishes, work on construction, etc, come here for that dream of America, the land of opportunity, and hope that they can make their dreams come true. One thing though, there doesn't seem to be very many new entrepreneurs that have worked their way up from poverty. The very, very, very rich is old money (and they aren't spreading the wealth either).
Seriously, we need someone to speak in English please. I really would like to know what they are saying????? They have such hope on their faces. They do know Bush is the president, don't they??
