Fla. DCF Worker May Face Discipline For Appearance On Stern Show

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A child abuse investigator from Palm Beach County may face disciplinary action for disrobing twice on Howard Stern's Sirius satellite radio show.

Alison Cushman, 31, visited the program while vacationing in New York with her husband Tuesday, and photos of the visit were posted on Stern's Web site. She originally appeared in February 2005, when she allegedly removed all her clothes so Stern and the rest of the show's cast could assess her body.

Photos of the earlier visit are still posted on Stern's site.

Palm Beach County Department of Children and Families spokeswoman Marilyn Munoz said "appropriate action" will be taken against Cushman.

1. I'm sorry
But I do not understand this hype about Howard Stern

The only thing he seems good at is getting people to degrade themselves on his show. Do his fans think "there but for the grace of God...."?

3. I find the show to be funny, but don't make it to be anything it isn't

It's bathroom humor and not everyone likes it, and I don't always like everything or find everything funny. If I don't like a bit they are doing I listen to something else. When he talks about politics he is quite good, not a PhD but far from an idiot on political and current issues.

2. I'm Sorry... But a Child Abuse Investigator
This doesn't sound quite right to me.

A Child Abuse Investigator takes off her clothes so the cast on the Howard Stern Show can "assess her body"??

It kind of creeps me out.

4. Novalib welcome to DU
:hi: I myself dont get stern either. But if people want too listen to him what they hey. I do think that spot for a child abuse investigator is inappropriate.

5. WTF difference does it make...?
I don't care if she danced naked on his table and then invented a dozen new ways to have fun with microphones. SHE WAS ON HER OWN TIME. Employers do not own their employees-- they rent employees' time (at rates set by the renter, fer cryin' out loud).
