Kerry-Short&Sweet: Tell the truth, Fire the Incompetents, Get Out of Iraq"
Kerry was short, sweet and to the point with Russert this morning. Two deadlines and a date.

What else does he want?

"I have a pretty short message, Tim. Tell the truth, fire the incompetents, get out of Iraq."

Amen to that Senator Kerry.

Kerry-Edwards Back Bush Censure

The 2004 Democratic presidential ticket now backs censuring President Bush. On NBC's Meet The Press, John Kerry tells host Tim Russert he would vote for censure, calling it "appropriate," while saying impeachment would be a "waste of time." Kerry running mate John Edwards announces support for censure on campaign swing in Iowa. Sen. Russ Feingold's censure proposal first attracted little support from other Democrats, but is gaining ground as polls show Americans open to the idea.

1. Bush should have the good grace to resign
rather then put the country through the termoil of impeachment.

Of course, we all know he doesn't.

2. "grace" and "Bush" aren't even in the same dictionary.
 Hyperbole, but closer to the truth than anything else that comes to mind.

3. Impeachment a "waste of time"? WTF is he talking about?
I did not watch. Did he explain this?

His IWR position was based on fear. I hope he's not saying this out of fear.

4. You know
3 years ago I signed the petition to impeach this idiot in chief. But I see where the option is not a good one at this moment in time.

So you get impeachment hearings and then you still have a Republican controlled Senate, do you really think that they will vote for impeachmnnt, I doubt it. Impeachment in Clinton's case was used as a political tool and it failed, so would impeachment now.

Now say by some miracle he was impeached, do you really want a president Cheney, Hastert, etc. Not me, no siree.

7. Impeach both * and Cheney.
They are both guilty of the same crimes against the country.

And the Senate may be in Democratic hands in 2007.
