4. It's Edward Bernays

Ivy Lee (William S Burroughs uncle FWIW) was another key figure.

John Stauber and Sheldon Rampton are well worth reading on the subject of PR. They run this website:

publish the quarterly "PR Watch" newsletter:

and have written several books:

6. thanks for the correct spelling... and those links I will bookmark
these for my time tonight is limited..glad to see others like yourself are on top of this. bernays, believe it or not watching that video Century of the Self was the first I heard of this guy. Quite a player in his time. He knew how to play people, play on their emotions and always seemed to hit home runs except for that
stock market crash in 1929.
Eddie Bernays my history lesson for this weekend..

10. you know rep..power of nightmares was the best factumentary
I ever seen regarding these neocons and islamic maniacs, best ever I say. baby its cold outside. One thing stuck out for me. Back in the middle 70's I seen a younger war maggot named d.rumsfeld doing an interview where he claimed,"absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" didn't we hear that bullshit leading up to the invasion of iraq?
Adam Curtis is my new video hero.
