I found this thread in a google search and realized that you all had connected some dots in Oct of 2004. Perhaps it needs to be revisited and maybe, just maybe, you can predict a golden twist in the AbraMafia story.

Having a second look at some of the names in that thread might pay off. It needs someone faster/smarter than me to dissect it.

I would like to remind folks here that Bozoforbush used that topic to gain acceptance here and infiltrate DU and cause a whole lot of trouble for a bunch of DU'ers. He has continued his insanity up to just a few weeks ago. Please read this thread and WATCH OUT FOR THAT John Dean aka Bozoforbush, who had at least 4 other identities here and was banned 4, 5 times that I know of.

I thought maybe it would break the DU rules. There is so much info in that thread though, that I thought it would be worthwhile to take another look at it and run some of the names uncovered and linked back then to what is happening now.

I found that link by chance in a google search, read it and realized that many on that thread (not BFB) were still around and might be able to a jog a memory if they revisited it.

6. I don't believe Bozos for Bush was a deliberate infiltrator

After the 2004 election, when there were a lot of obvious trolls and disruptors on the election result threads, he became obsessed with tracking them down and "unmasking" them, thus getting himself banned repeatedly. Some of the people he targeted probably were Freepers or worse -- posters who would start useless and misleading threads about vote fraud and then kick them a dozen times in a row, claques who would all show up together and pat each other on the back for "finds" that went nowhere -- but many were sincere researchers or innocent bystanders, and he ultimately caused a lot of harm.

However, his work before the election was solid and honestly motivated by the fact that his mother had been getting scam letters from a variety of right-wing groups. I do not believe it was intended as a false front to gain acceptance, or that it should be distrusted because of his later bad behavior.

I was there at the time, checking out everyone else's research as well as doing my own, and I consider that entire thread extremely reliable.

Now that it's been brought back up again, here's one question that's kept driving me nuts: Why is it that NCPPR, which got something like a million dollars from Abramoff for fronting his overseas junkets, also has to resort to scamming little old ladies out of their lunch money? Do they do it because they can't help being theives and liars, or is something else at work?

7. I want to thank you starroute for speaking up for me

last time Bozos for Bush was here trying to trash me and other DUers. I'm not sure if you know this but he is STILL doing so as of just a few weeks ago on another website. It's a very hard thing to go through when someone has done that to you AND continues to do so. He had NO basis in fact to accuse me of what he did. Only a grudge against me cause I wouldn't let him dictate to me what I could post and what I couldn't post. It was ALL vindictive and it CONTINUES so I feel that I must defend myself because he continues to post his crap about me and friends of mine. There WAS great info on that thread and I said so.

Maybe he was not an infiltrator but I am still waiting an apology from him and a couple of DUers still here for their viciousness.

8. That's really sad

It would be easier to take if he was a deliberate disruptor -- or at the very least, he would have given up and gone away a long time ago. It's only because he thinks he's right that he's able to keep doing this over and over.

I'm so sorry that you've had to go through it. Nobody should be subjected to that kind of crap.
