Tweety just helped Shrub by using KERRY
Everything Tweety does is wrong for us. Today the hot news was Shrub's duplicity. The focus needed to stay THERE. Already the Shrubbite line that things get automatically declassified when a president says so was falling flat. So what does Tweety do?---he has a LONG segment with KERRY, feeding rhetorical questions ("Does this say (Shrub) mislead us?'), the overall effect being to politicize, to make it look like KERRY gloating, and to lessen the impact of Shrub's DUPLICITY.

I assume that these interviews are often scheduled way ahead of time without reference to what might be breaking, and the consolation is that Tweety has a tiny audience, which is probably mostly US.

Then he had the out-of-touch MEACHAM dude from (Newsweek?) plugging a book about how religious this country is and to complete the irrelevancy all around Rosie O'DONNELL plugging her new video on Gay families. Helpfully, he asked her, "Do you think the Gay rights issue will be used against the Dems in the next election?" Yip, religion and Gay rights: That's how to keep priming the pump, Tweets.

2. They probably scheduled Kerry for his Iraq plan
That was the thrust of his interview with Wolfie too.

4. They announced Kerry was going to be on yesterday - before the
news broke - because of Kerry's Op-ed and new plan for getting out of Iraq.

7. Doesn't he get, like, fewer than 500,000 viewers or something?
I saw someone here post stats about his show.

8. Tweety did ask rhetorical questions, but Kerry got some good hits
in against BushInc and FOR his Iraq withdrawal plan.

9. Didn't watch it, but Tweets usual ploy is to gather a panel of RW
hacks to tour *'s innocence.

Having Kerry on was a scheduling issue.

11. Gay families are important to Tweety for obvious reasons...
he's gonna try to marry you-know-who and his cod-piece after 2008 election is over...

What's on HIS chin?

Actually, that should be the phrase that we greet all wingers with: sort of like a verbal 'MORAN" sign
