1. I don't think so
It could be construed as a bribe.
Nice thought though.

2. Absolutely not
You don't reward a prosecutor for doing their job.

It taints the process.

6. Nice gesture,
but wouldn't it make his investigation appear partisan? We don't need to give anybody any ammunition.

8. respectfully, I object
It's one thing for a politician or an opinion commentator to receive gifts of appreciation from groups of citizens who are banded together by partisan interests. It's quite another to think of sending gifts of appreciation to law enforcement officials.

Please don't. It can be used against us in the court of public opinion.

9. Wait until he finishes the investigation and hands out indictments.
Don't jump the gun on this one. It could embarrass him if done prematurely.

12. I'm not sure a public gesture is appropriate...
because his work needs to be seen as non-partisan, in a way that Helen's and Barbara Boxer's doesn't.

Still, I would like to kiss him (on the cheek, of course).

:)

14. We're gonna start to call you rosey dear
hope you're listening to HT right now on AAR. Betchya she's gonna mention the roses.

We'll send thousands of dozens to him upon the indictments and convictions though if he can somehow circumnavigate Gonzales it'll be okay. Tough one though. It anyone can Fitz can do it though. He's thankfully such an ace.

15. There was a post on DU that $17.76 should be given to his
progressive web site. Don't have the link. This is what I did.

17. Thanks. My eyes were reading something different. I've been thinking
a lot about Feingold lately and read what I wanted.

Just wanted to clear it up that we weren't advocating sending money to a Federal Prosecutor.:)
