Biggest Lesson Learned was that Iraqis Were Ungrateful
http://thinkprogress.org/2006/04/04/pipes-iraq/

Leading Neocon Pipes just doesn't understand how the Iraqis could be ungrateful for the great gift we gave them - freedom from Sadaam.

I don't think these guys live on the same planet the rest of us do. The thought process here is just way on the wierd side.

The really scary thing is that people were listening to them.

1. Many in this country want freedom from Bush but....
we certainly would not welcome another country invading us to get it. I don't think any of the pro war people ever thought about it. Why would any country be grateful for another country invading and decimating their land and people.

2. Lets say the Chinese decide to rescue us from Bush
Edited on Thu Apr-06-06 09:11 AM by C_U_L8R
Of course we'd love to have Bush brought to justice... he's a crook and a thief.
But I bet we'd be pretty pissed if the chinese took it on themselves to remove Bush
and in the process destroyed most of our country. Sure we'd be relieved that
Bush is gone.. but there'd be no parades for our "liberators".

To paraphrase....here comes the new boss .. same as the old boss

(on edit... me and Missy M were thinking the same)

3. Jeez!.......
Let's have some country who hates Bush come into our country. They bomb the crap out of us. They shoot all our gang members (well, that would probably be Ok.) The want to find shrubs and capture him and put him on trial (that would probably be Ok.)

They then proceed to occupy the US and tell us that we need to vote for a new constitution, new legislators (that probably wouldn't be too bad either).

How grateful woud we be to them (except for the gang member thing and the new legislator thing and the putting shrubs on trial thing)?

5. I know. This thinking is just bizarre.
Maybe they have been locked in a white tower for years and years and just are completely out of touch with the real world.

10. Crawled out from under a rock somewhere in Utah desert
I went to the University of Utah, too. I wish he had come from somewhere else. Its embarrassing.

Kind of a tossup which is the biggest slimeball - Rove or Cheney.
