In comparing her to Hilary Clinton. WTF??? I'm sorry, but Hilary has nothing on Feingold, or for that matter Gore or Clark. Fucking MSM and that slimey Chris Matthews. He thinks it's a hoot to demonize Democrats. I wish I could stop watching but I seem to be addicted or something.

Pot meet kettle.

I love me some Feingold. He gets the same look on his face when
the nutbars start spouting goo that I do.

It signals their paralyzing fear of an absolutely awesome human being and political leader.

6. Feingold is an ace.
Gore's great for the environment and Clark is great for the military.

Feingold is great for the Constitution. Which is more imprortant? Tough call.

17. I think that Gore, Clark and Feingold are all great for
the constitution and what it stands for.....(although I also think that Impeachment is better and more appropos than censure in the case of Bush's offenses)....

So at the end of the day, All three of these Dems are important in having their voices heard by the American people...in particular at this time in our history.

The more voices the better, IMO, with not one being "better or more important" than the other....because I think that we need each of them, each in their own special way!

7. when they don't have a leg to stand on - they pull out the
"dull" card. They did it to Gore, Kerry and now the honorable Feingold.

It's a distraction that seems to always work for them. I hope people don't fall for it this time.

8. It's OK. You watch because you must be aware, and that's admirable.
Tweety grows more schizophrenic by the day; he has demonstrated unequivocally that he has no core except his own inside-the-beltway cleverness. He and Russert could both disappear and we would all be the better for it. Time to chase Tweety out of the house.

10. Buchanan said it (second time) in the last week
and you'd think the Dem strategist would have had something to say about it, but you know how Matthews is. Big sloppy grin, lets it stand. I got the impression he agreed with it, he pushs Hilary Clinton with glee, the MSM WANTS it to be her, is complicit with the Repub party because it would be such a juicy race. He's a typical drooling hack "journalist".

11. Ooh! The kiss of death, from the "King of Charisma"...
The pundidiocy would really rather have whoever the Republican candidate is run against Hillary than Feingold, or Clark, or Kerry, or...

They are trying very hard - and have been for months - to get us to pick the Democratic candidate who can lose to McCain, or Jeb, or (a little candidate-picking of my own) Condi.

We'll pick our own candidate, thank you.

29. A FASCIST dirty sock. I sometimes wonder whether dude single handedly
torpedoed the shrub sr. campaign with his chilling "culture war" speech at the 1992 Houston Repub Convention, the one Molly Ivins said would have read better in the original German.

Sad thing is, that kind of rhetoric seems almost mild now.

Pat B. often says the right thing about the Iraq War IMO. But he's still a Repub snake.

15. I get panicky after how they mercilessly slandered Gore in 2000
And to some extent, Kerry. I don't know how much of this sticks. And though I don't want Hilary as prez, it angers me greatly when they slam her. She must be one of the most demonized women in the history of our country.

Maybe I'm a little too literal, but dull is not a word that comes to mind when I think of my Jewish friends. Or well known people. I don't get it.

have said similar things..During the 2K election they said stuff like that about Lieberman...just skirting the stereotypical stuff about Jews. They knew they could not "get away with" saying what they thought, but came right up to the edge.

23. And Hitler was charismatic. Guess which Pat models himself after?
If one remembers that Pat is a failed politician that got a significant part of the republican presidential delegates, and gave a convention speech that Molly Ivins said should be given some slack because "it sounded better in the original German", one should realize this is a huge compliment.

27. I googled it
Dog in the manger

Meaning

Spiteful and mean spirited.

Origin

Like the proverbial dog who slept in a manger not because he wanted to eat the hay there but to prevent the other animals from doing so.

31. When Feingold ran for the first time for the Senate in Wisconsin
he used a video camera and filmed his own campaign ads mocking the other candidates for spending so much money (and having so much money). As I recall they were hilarious and everyone was buzzing about them. He came across as smart and HUMBLE, the antithesis of the rest of these arrogant asses. I hope he does something unique and clever again. His first campaign was devastating for the repugs.

If he can translate that into a national campaign, he'd be a force to reckon with. Not that he isn't already.
