Has the American media opened itself up for attack in Iraq?
We all know how gun-ho some of our press was when we went into Iraq. We also know that some of our reporters actually served as conduits in spreading information, that was not true, to enable going to war in Iraq.

Additionally, we have reporters that are en bedded and an honest question must be asked about how objective their reporting can be.

I have heard many of our reporters complain that they can't leave the Green Zone, and more or less stay in protected hotel rooms.

I may be wrong, but I think some of our media's problem over there is that they are perceived to have taken sides. This may be the natural consequence of a media that no longer seems to be so objective anymore. (i.e. FAUX)

1. Being seen as taking a side is a huge problem with Embedment.
The Iraq War is by far the most deadly for journalists ever fought - a tragedy for the causes of reporting and truth.
