Anyone making plane reservations for their summer vacations yet?
From what I can remember from last year, it looks like prices are up at least 20%.

2. I just booked and no substantial change from this time last year.
Actually was cheaper than I expected. East coast to West coast flight that is.

The international flight was cheaper as well.

5. I was stuck in Florida (NOT a vacation) over the winter
so this will be one year I won't travel anywhere, unless it's a quick trip down to Mexico to stock up on pharmaceuticals, have a nice dinner, and stroll through the Juarez Mercado.

I will be delighted to stay put in town watching the tourists get lost on their way to Adobe Disneyland to the north.

6. Yes, I've booked for England in August
:7

Fares were high, but no more than I expected. (I'm paying a bit extra for more legroom.)

8. Did you notice the LARGE fuel surcharge?
That's why we are going on a cruise this year instead of Europe. We went to Ireland last year for about 350 per ticket in June. This year, we were thinking of going to Italy, but the fuel surcharge was 120.00 per ticket on international flights!! The base fare isn't any worse but the taxes, etc... have doubled!

9. We don't fly anymore unless we have to..
even with high gas prices, we would rather just drive. We can go at our own pace, stop when we like

12. Made reservations
to go to NYC for Easter Break. Got a really good fare on Jet Blue. 3 round trip tickets for a bit over $900. Not to bad.

Summer I'll just stay home and clean my house.
