2. Pretty level headed guy. Calls whistleblowers patriots.
Russert of course is using every right-wing talking point trying to make him look like an enemy of the state. He's holding his own like a man who knows what he's talking about.

4. Listening/watching now...
says:

WH sent "signals" of "get tough" policy on AQ...CIA quickly complied with secret programs (my take: to please the WH????)

Good...he has the story about the cia ignoring that the nuc program had been dead for a decade....

hmmmmmmmm....

I think Timmy has Risen on only because he perpetuates the myth that the CIA got it all wrong....e.g. gave Bush* bad intelligence.

If Risen isn't perpetuating the myth then Timmy is mischaracterizing his work to perpetuate it.

6. But we have to sit through Kate O'Beirne first!
Edited on Sun Jan-08-06 11:04 AM by johnfunk
Kate is plugging her new book, "Women the Right Wing Conservative Ideology Requires You to Hate" — she is on opposite Kate Michelman, whose weird-colored hair and unattractive brown dress are undercutting her articulate, well-argued progressive message. Kate reminds me of an Coulter, only fatter (i.e. stick-thin ass opposed to anorexic), older, and uglier.
