I have a stupid conspiracy theory!

I'm going to link to an article about it.

If you don't read the entire article, I will say you're being closed-minded, no matter how stupid my conspiracy theory is.

If you read the whole article, and you still don't believe me, I will just point you to another article and accuse you of being closed-minded if you don't read it.

I will keep doing this forever, in an attempt to keep you from ever meeting the burden of proof to show that I am wrong.

Because all conspiracy theories are created equal, and it is never a waste of time to chase-down and debunk a conspiracy theory no matter how absurd it is.

And we all have an infinite amount of time to spend researching the sillier theories, so this will in no way detract from our ability to research and expose the more plausible or proven ones.

And it certainly never detracts from our credibility.

Never argue with Evangelists for non-religious causes. This applies to Conspiracy Theorists and anyone else who's claiming to bring Enlightenment to the Great Unwashed Masses (who are usually better-washed than the Evangelists, anyway). The religious kind are bad enough, but the secular ones will bite your head off and then complain that there isn't any ketchup.
