I just finished reading the "Half-Blood Prince", and I couldn't help but notice parallels between Draco Malfoy and the chimp.

Draco= A pitiful little bully, powerless when not surrounded by friends

Draco= Had other people do the thinking for him

Draco= Controlled by Voldemort
chimp= Controlled by Cheney and the Military/Industrial Complex

Draco= A compulsive, manipulative liar

I like that. I suspect JKR had no intention of making such a parallel; then again, the Imperial Blivet was a perfect model for Draco in the fifth and sixth books.

An even more obvious parallel would be the Emporer in Star Wars, Episode Three. Rose to power by killing off his detractors and by manipululation people close to him. Once he attained power, he turned the Senate and the public against the Jedi, the true doers of good.

chimpy and the Emporer have much in common.

He's too much of a fucking dope to realize that he was installed as a puppet. He'll never get it, ever. He should have had a clue when Cheney shot that dirtbag lawyer in the face, but the fact that cheney left him out of the loop for a weekend went unnoticed by the chimp.
