I recall Karen Hughes was put in charge of helping US image
now they say it's part of a "long-term" program...bullshit. She sucks at it. Karen Hughes improves nothing. She can't do the job, she's the wrong person for the job and now they say it's part of a "long-term" plan. Lying, cheating, evil Sons of Bush's!

For the record, I remember that the Idiot * and his Administration put her in this position, specifically, to "improve the U. S. image abroad."

They are re-writing history again.

1. That's SOP.
They are also saying that Bush may look like a fool now but history will vindicate him. It's a very convenient and ridiculous catchall excuse. Not now, sure, but in the FUTURE we will be proved right.

3. Karen could help the US image immensely if she would just go hide
out in a bunker somewhere for the rest of Bush's term.

4. The ONLY thing that will improve US image abroad is bushco OUT
Whether by resignation or legal actions against them ALL for their crimes, the ONLY way the rest of the world will hold us in higher regard will be the junta out of power in America.

Karen Hughes' fake warm, motherly smile doesn't fool anyone with a brain.

9. That's the bottom line, isn't it?
There's a certain percentage who will hate Americans no matter what, but over the years I've realized that many people around the world are kindly disposed towards us. Having said that, though, since Little Boots was selected I've not met a single person in the UK - not one - who likes him. Since he assumed his throne in 2000, I've noticed a gradual increase in the number of times I've heard people say "I like you Americans, but I don't like George Bush." Nowadays even that's ramped up to "I think he's dangerous."

14. Bush, Cheney and Rummy in Milosevik's old cell at the Hague would help
We can show that we really believe in international law and better yet the American taxpayers wouldn't have to support them for life in Leavenworth or some other domestic federal prison.

10. Trouble is, they forgot to put someone in charge of Karen's image!
Sheesh. Maybe Katherine Harris could have helped her out. Girl needs a serious intervention by those "What Not To Wear" ladies!

12. For the record, I believe her job was to improve the image of Bush*...
domestically. She was supposed to shore up the base because the Bush* numbers were in free fall. She failed miserably and has crawled back under the rock she came out from. That, or she is still recovering from nose surgery after she fell flat on her face - no photographers until the bandages are removed.

13. That was her job until late 2004 then she went home and was later
re-hired to improve the image of the US abroad. She can't do either IMHO

17. I don't believe for one minute that that was her real job...
If Bush* really cared about his image abroad he would have used professionals from the State Department who know a thing or two about diplomacy. She came back to try and do the same job she was attempting to do before 2004, but with an expanded responsibility, and a fancy 'new and improved' title to go with it. Her job was to convince the rubes back home that Bush* was in control because she supposedly knows the language, buzzwords, and code-talk the base understands. Nope, her blundering foreign escapades were for domestic consumption and she failed miserably.

15. the big thing they forget is that there are just about ZERO koolaid
drinkers beyond our fair shores

the people before whom she presented herself haven't been subjected to the unending propaganda/PR campaign for which she's so famous

what works on the rubes here doesn't translate over there

16. When she said that the US Constitutions says:
"In God we trust." She should have been fired on the spot.
