Rove is NOT cooperating with the CIA leak investigation.
Edited on Tue Mar-28-06 03:05 AM by Blue_Roses
If you believe this then there is definitely beach property to be sold on the Louisiana and Florida coast--just in time for hurricane season. :eyes:

Karl Rove has never, repeat NEVER cooperated in anything. He's a hinder. He doesn't know how to be a person who helps. Anybody who believes he's helping in this case is either a)so naive they can't help themself or b)dum.

Karl Rove is NEVER to be trusted to do the right thing. He's like Lex Luther--a nemesis in Superman's side.

3. Those are two
distinct issues. Of course Karl should not be trusted. Having lied to the FBI investigators and to the grand jury, it is unlikely Mr. Fitzgerald would "trust" him on anything. The second issue, which is while a consequence of his lying, is that Mr. Rove was in legal jeopardy. RawStory had sources that said he is cooperating at some level with Mr. Fitzgerald. This may be true, or it may not; if you have any serious thoughts on the topic, perhaps you could share them.

4. Well, there actually IS beach front property for sale........
on the Louisiana and Florida coasts with hurricane season approaching. And there will ALWAYS be some idiot who will buy it.

I can't argue with the rest of your post though. I imagine Rove is telling them something, But I highly doubt it's the truth.

5. Rove is pushing other people between him & Bush and the shark
I doubt very much if Karl Rove has turned a new leaf and learned the error of his ways.

What he's doing is selectively feeding other people to Fitzgerald and muddying up the waters to keep the shark away from him and his Precious.

If you and a friend are approached by a shark you don't have to be able to swim faster than the shark--you just have to be faster than your friend.

6. People like Karl Rove
Will always give up anyone to save themselves. There is never a doubt. The only question with people like this is the "trigger" or what will convince them it's "him or me."

He's not doing the "right" thing; he's saving his ass from jail and nothing more, nothing less.

Having said all that, I suspect this is all a grand plan to sacrifice lower staffers to save Bush. When Fitzpatrick got Libby, they thought it was over and they could throw him to the wolves. But Fitz didn't stop there, didn't close the investigation. So, now, Rove is trying to re-direct the investigation because it got too close to a higher up - Bush or Cheney.

There's one point you MUST take from the last 6 years to understand this bunch - they never consider the consequences of their actions. See Iraq.

7. You may be right...
but you're entirely naive to believe that Karl wouldn't do anything to save his chickenshit ass.

8. Karl is certainly trying to help himself. Isn't there a chance that
his self-interest in protecting himself from indictment has some intersection with the work of Fitzgerald's investigators?

9. So, Rove would never try to stay out of prison by....
...trading information for zero jail-time?

Are we talking about the same Rove?
