Mathews said former Sec. Def. Cohen knew after briefing Cheney before Bush was sworn in that Bush-Cheney were going to go after Iraq.

on one item only: iraq! and then matthews turns around and asks buchanan if the fact that cheney told cohen that he wanted his president to be briefed on one subject only: iraq meant that they were gunho to invade (invade my words) iraq.

i muted the set and changed the channel. matthews had just listened to a brittish guy who has a new book out with more evidence of how lustily bush and cheney wanted to invade iraq, he also had just mentioned his conversation with cohen ... and he turns around looking still for an excuse for bush... my blood pressure is at the boiling point..
