Who's funneling $$$ to MidwestHeroes.com?
This group has been running rw propaganda for quite some time now to drum up support for the clusterf*ck that is Eyerack. They've run commercials with vets telling us how great things are going over there and what great progress we're making. The way things operate these days I wonder if any of 'em are vets.

1. If they have "heroes" in their name, probably no vets are involved.
"Heroes," like "warriors," is one of those trigger words that appeal to the rightwing wankers who fight the wars from their mamas' basements.

Any organization that has either word in its name is automatically suspect.

6. I saw Version 1, and the sequel has no appeal for me.
I do hope, as forlornly as I might in these parlous days of well-financed bullshit, for them to be exposed as the lying posers that they are.

11. Same here.
I had relatives over there and saw the TV reports everyday. Senseless bloodbath.

15. I don't think it's necessarily ' rw foundation/think tank/ $$$'
Think Lincoln Group - Sal Russo's latest monies are coming from the "Kurdish" Chamber of Commerce! WTF, like the Kurds are spending time and hard money investing in West Coast TV commercials espousing how great things are in their region of Iraq these days? NO, I think the money originates from the seven billion dollars Rumsfeld lost in Iraq that quietly became a propaganda slush fund. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

16. Russo went international after the 'Truth Tour' faded
I mean, it's all connected in some convoluted way., and I understand Russo was the driving force that got Move America Forward launched, but it looks like he's feeding out of a bigger trough these days

Here's a good Sacramento News and Review article that ties Russo, Kaloogian, and Melanie Morgan together in their scams/sham. They are slime of the lowest order.

I'm not terribly familar with Russo. I generally come at this from the extreme far right end of the spectrum (especially since I'm interested in how far right conspiracy theories flow to the left), but they're all in bed with each other today.
