Irrefutable Photo Evidence of Utah Voting Machine Flaws
Edited on Sun Mar-26-06 10:47 AM by helderheid
The high-resolution photos in this directory are for the free use of newspapers:

http://utahcountvotes.org/images/BruceFunk/

These photos show:

1. machines with the same price - some shipped with inadequate computer memory

2. power plugs easily pulled out of machines while unplugging, leaving
poll workers exposed to electrocution to possibly fatal commercial
power levels

3. non-standard printer design, lacking paper guides, causing paper jams

4. opaque printer cover hiding the voter verifiable paper trail from voters

Below - today's articles on Diebold from California and Maryland.

3. I am not a programmer, but I know I could produce a simple,
open source application that could tally the results at the polling places and overall.
There are thousands upon thousands of talented, well qualified people on the net, right this minute, who could do the job, spec or even supply the hardware, and set up the training for it all. Why this fascination with the greedy bastards mucking up the deal?

Bribes.

Call it what you will, spin equals lies, quid pro quo (puke-gag) and all its cutesy noms de jour equals bribes.

That's the bottom line. Lobbying equals bribes, well laundered, mostly squeaky clean, rehabilitated, but bribes, nonetheless.

I think, if people in the M.E. can have elections with colored pebbles, paper voting slips, inked thumbs, and the constant physical threat of instant dismemberment or death, along with the psychological torture of knowing you were seen, voting, and produce results that were demonstrably at least as accurate as our own, why all the fuss and pressure?

8. Yep, bribes
And to kick off the bribes, congress appropriated several billion dollars of government largess in a law entitled Help America Vote Act, or HAVA.

HAVA made available Billions of dollars to be spread around the country. The problem is, there were just a handful of companies- Diebold, ES&S, Sequoia, Danaher, and Hart, among them - who could sell the billion dollar voting machines.

Viola! A few people with billions and billions of dollars whose interest was to effect the elections in this country.

Yeah, you can bet on bribes.

9. On top of that, those machines did not even qualify,
in the first place. F'rinstance-Diebolds offerings should have never even been considered.
