* is so great because he didn't plant WMDs in Iraq!
Oh, by the way, he also "told us the truth" about there being no WMDs :wtf:

No Iraqi WMD’s Proves Bush’s Integrity

March 22, 2006 by Gargantua

The Democratic drumbeat, stale and tired though it may be, not only continues, but is likely to intensify as we approach the 2006 mid-term elections. Their favorite mantra?

“Bush lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction.” “Republicans can’t be trusted!”

After eight long years of Bill Clinton’s Oval Office sexcapades, Vince Foster’s suspicious death, Ron Brown’s suspicious death, Betty Currie’s brother’s suspicious death, etc., and the way that these crimes (widely acknowledged though often never proven or admitted to) turned the stomachs of the vast majority of American voters, the Republicans were granted both Houses of Congress and the White House by the people of this great country.

<snip>

Were President Bush the Machiavellian liar which Democrats would love to paint him as, we most assuredly would have found WMD’s in Iraq. We would have found Botulism in Baghdad, Ebola in Basra, Mustard in Fallujah, Anthrax in Tikrit, the stuff would have been everywhere we looked. Because so deceitful a mastermind as the great deceiver Bush would have had his Haliburton minions planting the stuff everywhere. But that didn’t happen, did it? When no WMD’s were found, the honest. integrity-bound president admitted the truth instead of scurrying to cover up the truth. How novel. What a breath of fresh air after eight years of Clinton.

Yeah I never thought of that...he sucks so bad that he couldn't even fix the crime scene when he (they) were the only ones allowed in. Wow talk about be a complete fustercluck.

The first paragraph is worth $70 Million of taxpayer dollars.

7. and he never linked
the war in Iraq to 9/11. WHAT A HELL OF A GUY. I'm convinced by the shear logic of the statement. Clearly a bunch of paranoid fantasies of Clinton murdering people proves Bush is more honest. A dishonest president would clear not want UN weapon inspectors in Iraq, when forced to put them in Iraq would not let them finish their job, would ignore the lack of WMD found and change the subject to installing freedom, when the Iraqi people seem uninterested in Paxamericana he would change the subject to killing them there so we could be free here...

If they could have gotten away with planting WMDs they most certainly would have done it. They are just too fucking stupid to have done it and gotten away with it with the whole world looking on. I actually wish they would have tried it though. They would have been caught most likely. Just think how interesting that would have been?

32. Isn't there some information suggesting they did attempt to plant WMDs?
I thought I had read somewhere there was a convoy of soldiers (Brits? Americans? don't remember) dressed like Iraqis who were caught trying to bring WMDs into Iraq. The suggestion was that the outing of Brewster-Jennings was payback.

Sorry I don't have more details, but my memory is fuzzy. Does anyone else remember the details?

Hey everybody! I can say 'suspicious death' without proof and call President Clinton a traitor! Nifty, huh?
...Oh' yeah, 67% approval ratings really mean that the "vast majority of American voters" had their stomach's turned. Why they voted Clinton in a second term is beyond me.

13. The only reason they didn't plant WMD
They knew that no matter what, one of them would have ratted them all out. There is no honor among thieves. I am sure they were considering it, but they didn't want to spend their lives being sodomized in Leavenworth. Let's face it, would you trust any of those lying thugs any further than your mother could throw them?

14. Do you want to know why no WMDs were planted?
Here's why. According to Colin Powell, Iraq possessed "26,000 liters of anthrax, 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin, 500 tons of sarin, mustard, and VX nerve agents, almost 30,000 munitions capable of delivering chemical agents, several mobile biological-weapons labs, an advanced nuclear-weapons development program, a design for a nuclear weapon, and a program to enrich uranium." Not even Halliburton could plant all of that evidence without getting caught. Honesty had nothing to do with it. The prospect of getting caught had everything to do with it.

17. Dear Gargantua, Have you been in a coma for the last 3 years?
Apparently, you missed the news stories about the botched attempts to plan stuff in Iraq. Did you also miss the lies about the weather in Crawford when dumb-bell fell off his bike? Did you miss the turkey was made of plastic and no British Airways pilot 'discovered' Air Force One's secret mission to fly the asshole in and out of Iraq? Did you miss the Downing Street memos? Did you miss the existence of PNAC? Did you miss that the oil in Iraq would pay for the war? That it would cost only $1.2 billion? That the economist who disagreed was fired? Have you been asleep during the outing of a for real secret CIA operation by your 'hones, integrity-bound' idiot?

Who ever said that * was a "Machiavellian liar?" That would take some imagination. * is just a garden-variety, plain-wrap liar.

Now, Rove and Cheney are Machiavellian liars (among other deceits), but not their little phony Texan figurehead.

24. What kind of convoluted thought process is this:
To: Gargantua
But he surely would KNOW that is what they would think. So in fact there WERE WMD found, but he HID THEM, so he could say they didn't find any, to prove how honest he was. Because if he just said they found WMD, the left would argue that they were planted.

Read today: Cons are now in the ironical position of STILL trying to argue that Sadam was linked with AlQaida, even while, after yesterday, they NOW have to say that bush NEVER said the two were linked!!!

Bush never said that, he never said that, he never said that....but, it's true.
