It's obvious that the Bushites are fighting back by sending their orcs out with one consistent message: It's the media's fault. O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Ingraham et al have been handed their monolithic talking points, more accusatory than ever before. Keith Olbermann does a service tonight by calling it what it is, and giving us a heads up about what is coming. Also, Helen Thomas is guest. And plenty more, of course. 8 p.m. EST on MSNBC.

But something has been rattling around in this old brain. I wonder how far Keith can go before he ends up getting fired by the G.E. honchos? I cannot help but get the sinking feeling he is living on borrowed time. I hope I'm wrong. We really need him.

Yes, he is making money for his honchos, but his is such a powerful voice of truth, reason and ridicule that I cannot imagine him not being in trouble. Look for O'Reilly to ignite the call to fire him - this time joined by the other electronic and print lackeys to whom the message has gone out-Blame the media.
