First, here is a good article that if the over votes were counted, then Gore wins. http://www.sptimes.com/News/111201/Lostvotes/Without_overvotes_Gor.shtml The normal conservative response is that the over votes were not being counted under the terms of the recount as ordered by the Florida Supreme Court. That arguments assumes that the judge supervising the recount was going to ignore these overvotes which is wrong. http://www.consortiumnews.com/2001/112101a.html Even Mickey Klaus agrees that the over votes would have been counted and Gore would have won but for the Supreme Court. http://www.slate.com/?id=2058603 I hope that this helps.
